Explore how a text speaks to its time and how its meaning can change. Units 1/2 examine movements, genres and voices. Unit 3 compares a text with an adaptation. Support can help your child explain what changes between forms and why it matters.

Develop a response that stays close to the text. Units 1/2 build confidence discussing and writing about literature. Unit 4 adds creative responses that draw on the original text’s ideas and style. A tutor can help your child plan, revise and explain their choices while keeping the work their own.
