T.M.J. Tutoring is a Melbourne-based, in-home tutoring service supporting students from primary through to VCE and IB. Built by high-achieving university students and trusted by families, we focus on consistency, clarity, and care.
We take the time to understand each student, then match them with a tutor who can explain clearly and adapt to how they learn. Fit matters, and trust is built through steady, reliable support. For us, in-home sessions are the gold standard and help students feel grounded, supported, and capable.

T.M.J. was founded by two recent students who saw first-hand how overwhelming school can feel for families.
The Founders
Having both tutored and studied within the system themselves, they recognised that what students need most isn’t pressure or perfection, but steady, reliable support and someone they trust. That belief shaped T.M.J. into a service built around in-person connection, thoughtful matching, and consistent care. Today, they remain closely involved in the day-to-day running of T.M.J., ensuring the service remains consistent, personal, and true to the standards it was built on.
